For thirty-three years Art Sherwyn has devoted himself to liberating the mind through the appreciation and practice of visual art.  A seasoned teacher, writer, and lecturer, his techniques deepen the understanding of composition and color, employing exercises that encourage the reader, from all backgrounds, to embark on their own heroic journey, challenging common perception and to see their world with renewed passion and clarity.

Upcoming “Art Retreat” for the hearty artist: Quaking Aspen in May 2010.  Three days camping; we will hike into some beautiful, peaceful remote landscapes, and explore art theory and process.  This retreat is for those with strong legs, and the capability to adapt comfortably to the outdoor inclements.
