The Art of Street Painting I have a wonderful team of highly skilled young artists that just recently created a 12ft. X 12ft. chalk, street painting at the Market Place in Bakersfield, CA. It was a part of a weekend for the arts, entitled ³Via Arte¹ Art patrons, corporations and independent businesses sponsored artists to paint their spaces with the money going to the Bakersfield Museum Of Art. Our space was sponsored by longtime art enthusiasts and supporters, Mary Lou and Jack Thomson. We recreated a Mediterranean street scene originally painted by Pablo Picasso.
