3 Day Art Retreat in Cambria CA,  Date to be announced:

Join us for three days of peace, beauty, serenity, and camaraderie, combined with color, stroke, and composition on the Cambria Coast.  Take part in three days of being perched on lush and diverse landscapes while learning and applying art technique, knowledge and theory.

The format includes three full days with two work sessions per day; 9 to 12, and 1:30 to 3:30. Most sessions will be held on location.

This retreat is for both the artist (beginner to advanced) and the teacher. A well designed learning progression will explore the creative process, seeking pathways into merging technique, creativity and personal style. From stroke production to composition, from the art of seeing to the development of personal style, we will partake in some very unique and easy to understand methods for developing proficiency in these areas. Teachers will return to their classrooms equipped with a wide range of tactics to use with their students. Artists will return to their studios with theory, technique, vision and a renewed motivation to make art.

Cost: The cost can vary, but usually runs somewhere between $150.00 to $200.00.

Class sizes are limited to the first 20 participants to call in, and send a non-refundable $50.00 reservation fee to Art Sherwyn, 8507 Koala Ct. Bakersfield, CA 93313.  The remainder of the money may be paid on the first day of the retreat.
