Figurative Works

I absolutely enjoy watching people scurry around the cities, airports and parks. Painting figures as they exist in everyday life is a real challenge. It requires the artist to employ soft edges. I also refer to it as a lost and found line. It is these edges that allow the figures to move. Without the movement the time and place becomes lifeless and stagnant.
